About Me
A Brief History…
I started playing online poker in 1997/8. I played on Party Poker and I was actually a winning player – go figure. I cashed a few times, but never for much more than $500. I was focused on school at the time and securing a good job after graduation that I let poker slip to the back burner. After I graduated, I worked as a Technical Trainer for such agencies as the NYS Attorney General, NY State Troopers, and NYS Dept. of Transportation. Then in the summer of 2003 I decided to travel across the country. I made stops in every casino along the way, playing poker, and winning. I ended up in Tucson, AZ for a few months, playing $10+RA MTTs, until I took 1st three days in a row (NLHE, LHE, Crazy Pineapple) and had enough money to move up to Fort Collins, CO. I met some people that owned a financial firm in Boulder, CO and they needed some specific software written for their business strategy. It took me 5 days to write the software, which allowed the company to grow from $60k/month gross to $150-$200k/month within a 5 month timeframe. I ended up staying in the Boulder, CO area, and starting my own consulting firm, Clyde Development Corp. Then in early 2005 I got engaged and common-law married. That didn’t work out and by January of 2008 I was back to poker again. I have been traveling around playing in prelim events and cash games, mainly in Vegas and L.A. I love the Commerce’s 5/10 NLHE and I enjoy the HPT events through out the country. My next goal is to build my roll as well as get into the poker industry – maybe with PokerRoad?? Hint, Hint!
